MLB Network's Christopher Russo: "Millennials don’t work as hard and have no accountability"

He's right.

I don't think it has anything to do with being a millennial. I think it's more of how you were raised and if you had parents who taught what it means to have strong work ethics and to be accountable.

I've seen plenty of Baby Boomers and Gen X's who are lazy turds and play the victim for everything that has gone wrong in their lives or jobs.

"Anyone born between 1981 and 1996 (ages 23 to 38 in 2019) is considered a Millennial"

Every generation before complains about the generation after it...nothing changes except the generation before the new one thinks their group is superior or better

It's nonsense.

I am confused.   I always thought that the 1981-1996 bunch were the Gen-X's, and the 1997 and afters were the Millennials.

I think the whole Millennial thing is becoming very much played out.  There are good and bad like any generation.
I have 3 millennial kids who are very responsible and work hard, one is a firefighter up in SF.
The ones i cant abide, and what no other generation has ever even conceived of, is the safe space crowd.   Its literally the dumbest Facking idea in a long line of very dumb Facking ideas and goes directly against the way things should be.

I've found this as well so the definition is "malleable":

  • Baby Boomers: Baby boomers were born between 1944 and 1964. They're current between 55-75 years old (76 million in U.S.)
  • Gen X: Gen X was born between 1965 - 1979 and are currently between 40-54 years old (82 million people in U.S.)
  • Gen Y: Gen Y, or Millennials, were born between 1980 and 1994. They are currently between 25-39 years old.
    • Gen Y.1 = 25-29 years old (31 million people in U.S.)
    • Gen Y.2 = 29-39 (42 million people in U.S.)
  • Gen Z: Gen Z is the newest generation to be named and were born between 1995 and 2015. They are currently between 4-24 years old (nearly 74 million in U.S.)

should I move this thread to the politics forum now or just erase it in about half an hour?

We can just hide posts that go off the rails or just move it to the Hangout forum if it gets to that point.

Since Chris Russo is on the MLB Network, this is baseball talk. The guy is a complete idiot, his comments today just echo that.

This is mostly the Gen Z crowd that people keep lumping in with millennials... aka kids today.
