I pulled that from MLB trade rumors because I remember it happening when the Angels got someone via non-tender a few years back. Maybe Ben Revere?

Granted, Bour has a decent year and he's likely due somewhere between 5-7 M which may be too rich for the Angels depending on his role.

More control is always better than less. If Bour proves worth his arb salary, the Angels keep him. If not, they can non-tender him. No downside for the Angels.

If they don’t get Machado.  Hopefully he is.  I’d cycle Cozart between 2B SS and 3B until he can prove he’s not a .630 OPS hitter.
