Back in 2016, Arte was all set to build new stadium on NW corner of the Tustin Air Base.  Environmental permits were quickly approved and all that needed was investors to build/develop the surrounding property.  Unfortunately, investors were not found so in 2017, Arte gave up and signed an extended lease with Anaheim (2029?) He has big plans for developing the parking lot but the city wants to see some improvements to the stadium. First he replaced all lights with LED lights (2017).Last year, he upgraded the sound system and video screens.

You guys should be happy to be able to go to a game at the fourth oldest stadium in baseball. If only they hadn't upgraded it the stadium would be as iconic as Fenway Park or Wrigley before they put in the electronic scoreboard.

Are the Angels just going to stay on the current property past all of our deaths?

Nah, just yours...they have patches ready to commemorate the event and everything ?

And then maybe on opening day, all angelswin.com members can stop in the middle of the fifth inning and hold up a sign similar to this, except it says, "I stand up for firefighter's pensions"

how are you guys fine with the Big A? It's an embarrassment for a big market team and the city of Anaheim to still have that place as their stadium. Just go to San Diego for a game and then you can realize what a rat hole the Big A is. If the city and team can work together and do this right they can revitalize that whole area.

New stadium? The one in Inglewood is shaping up pretty nicely.

They are installing the framework for the retractable roof in Arlington and the seat lines are taking shape.

I don't think I've heard anything about any plans in St. Petersburg or San Leandro.

I've been to San Diego to watch the Padres lose on several occasions. Their stadium is great if you like to do stair climbing to a relatively sterile environment to watch a game. Good location, not bad getting in and out of the parking structure, the concessions are dull. I would be very dissapointed if the Angels were to spend all that money and end up with that design.
