It's hilarious. Dipoto spends three years as the Angels GM abd leaves the Angels with no international presence, a series of the worst drafts in baseball, no farm system due to the aforementioned factors plus trades, a super-bloated payroll and a non-playoff team.

Pretty much the worst possible situation to be in.

Here we are three years after taking charge of the Mariners, and Dipoto has completely depleted their farm with no international presence, trades and terrible drafts, has bloated their payroll and has built what I don't think is a playoff caliber team.

Two separate opportunities and the same, identical result. 

How freakin' arrogant do you have to be? He refuses to change because he is clearly right and everyone else is wrong.

Changing the way things are done isn't a bad thing at all. I love that he tried something new. But to fail and then not change a thing and operate under the assumption that he's the smartest man in the room and that everyone else is wrong and therefore not change makes Jerry Dipoto a dickhead.

So congratulations Mariners.
