No to Marte because he has been hitting well for the most part until his recent slumps. Not worry about him. As for the other three goes, uh, we've probably been saying that in our head for like the whole season now.

Sweeping this series would have been really nice. Winning this series would have been key to proving we are at least on track. If we lose a 4 game series against the Tigers, we its time to go into full panic mode. This is less a must win, and more a must 'not lose'.

I’d like to see them put Trout back into the lead off spot.  Cozart and Kinsler don’t work in that role with the OBP clips they’re putting up.  It’s killing us imo.  We have our good hitters in a position where they’re already down an out.  Definitely not favorable.  Simmons makes great contact, put him the two hole and let Upton and Pujols (he’s an rbi specialist supposedly right) get us on the board.

I mean we watched him fail miserably for 40 games.  Cozart is barely batting over .230.  We still have Calhoun playing all the time.

Terry Smith said there are six guys in the lineup who have had more RBI opportunities than Trout.  That's telling and sad.

So... he's asking should Trout continue to hit 2nd?

Like I said, to me the sub .300 OBP lead off man is a key component of the offense’s struggles.
