Barria is one hell of a mature pitcher for somebody his age. He really knows how to set hitters up and he has excellent command of all of his stuff. His changeup is filthy

And he’s young enough that it’s entirely possible that we’ll see some added velocity to that FB.

Man, I'm loving what Barria's showing.  Mad respect for the dude after pitching a great game in Coors during the daytime (ball flies out of that place), then doing a good job of holding an elite offense at bay so far in this game.

Maybe. He's kinda undersized and already looks pretty filled out with his frame. His FB is fine as is already though. Not a plus pitch but his command of it helps it play up. The changeup is a legit weapon though

The Angels don't have much to show for it in terms of runs, but they've been doing a good job of battling Cole.  Cole's the MLB leader in WAR entering this game and he's been on a ridiculous tear.  When you face someone like that, just have to battle, run his pitch count up, and get him out of the game.
