Vlad Guerrero angels hall of fame induction ceremony 8/26, Nolan Ryan attending?

Thought I heard Nolan Ryan's son say in an interview that his dad would be on the field for the ceremony. Can't find info any confirmation anywhere, anyone heard anything? I know the 25th is his bobblehead giveaway and vlad was also a ranger when Nolan was running the team. He's been my dad and my favorite pitcher and would be nice to see him at the big A again.

Nolan will be sitting next to Robin Ventura at the Mayweather/Mcgregor fight that night.

The stadium is going to be empty. I saw that they will be broadcasting the fight at the stadium to try and entice people to attend. Good luck with that.

They mentioned something on tv, about showing it at some specific spot at the stadium that night. Not sure on the little details.

I was at the gym, no sound on the tv, but looked cool. I still love Vlad. Guy was a monster. Trout is great, better all around player, and home grown. But vladdy was just "more fun" to me. That violent swing is still my fave. Better than griffey jr (which was better and prettier, not as cool).

I felt almost bad watching arte and albert during the ceremony. Albert has had the better career but fell off a cliff. Arte thought albert would be another vladdy, carry this team.

Glad to see vladdy get his dues. Face of the best era this team has ever had. Would have been perfect to have his kid around the corner to take over 3B, but hashtag dipoto.

Agreed, hands down the most entertaining player I've ever seen play the game. Probably the most raw, natural talent as well. They mentioned it in the ceremony several times as well. Just a humble, unassuming superstar. No doubter for the Angels Hall of Fame and hopefully soon the MLB Hall of Fame.

They would have if Trout was born in 1983 & drafted in 2001 he would have been there to help Vlad or if Vlad had been born in 1990.

The bust in Cooperstown has him in a Rangers cap.  That's the bottom line to me.
