Pilot lost his right engine shortly after takeoff and tried to return to the airport. A fire captain who happened to be driving by helped pull him from the flaming wreckage.

My first flight instructor died in a 310, losing an engine on takeoff.

one of the guys i sing with has his own plane. not sure if he just bought a cessna 180 or just sold one and went up in class. it's a six-seater, for those who may know the difference.

180 is a tail dragger, 4 seats. Mighta gone up to a 210.

My office is on the 8th floor of a building that's about a mile or two from where this happened. I looked out the window right after I heard about this and I expected to see smoke but couldn't see any.  This probably never happened, I'm still trying to disprove it.

And since when are In N Outs on the 8th floor?  Are you trying to get higher up, so that Nate could see you from Wisconsin?

...the next 7 are occupied by In N Out.
