@Brandon I'm on a gag order but the actions of two cast members and the fallout caused the production to be shut down and the loss of over 100 jobs and millions of dollars.

I will be finishing post on the Bachelorette then a really long hiatus. I was supposed to be working through the entire summer. Now, looks like I have plenty of time to get that ankle surgery I've been putting off.

fuck. sorry to hear man.

i thought it was just a tmz like news story and was hopeful it wasn't something seriously detrimental.

Most of the staff relies on this to be pretty much a complete year cycle of shows so those people that were contracted to this are really feeling the hit. And unfortunately for the company when you have a cycle break like this you lose good people to other productions and they may not return.

We were geared up for an additional 40+ people in the office plus additional rental space across the street and had a huge amount of rental equipment brought in. Now it feels a little like a ghost town with only one show staffed.

Probably not the right thread for this topic. Maybe we should start a Cialis thread to continue this discussion.

in some places, you should assume you are being watched constantly. a country like north korea, where paranoia is a requirement, should be #1 on everybody's list.

this is also a good example of making the punishment fit the crime. ten years hard labor for stealing a poster is wee bit excessive.

Considering we live in a state where you could rob someone's house and the punishment will be a stern talking to.  Anything would be considered excessive.

Then again, sleeping in front of short round during a meeting means you get fed to the dogs.  So maybe 10 years hard labor isn't excessive.

Apparently it's incredibly safe if you follow the rules.

this dude wrote a book on North Korea after visiting. This is a pretty interesting talk.

That was an incredibly interesting, informative video, although I disagree with him about it ending within five years. Thanks, Adam.

Maybe not as excessive as some believe. Petty thieves are pathetic, trifling, chickenshit wastes of air. I'm actually ok with capital punishment in most cases

Heard him on a podcast a couple weeks ago. Very knowledgeable about NK.

It trips me out that citizens have to report on other citizens shortcomings daily. Those people live in a state of paranoia their entire lives.

They are a vile people. They deserve the poverty and famine in which they live.

Not sure I agree with you on that one. Almost all of these people were simply born in the wrong place at the wrong time. They are slaves forced to snitch on each other while living in fear and squalor.

Kim and his cronies can burn in hell of course.
