This just broke today. Tarek and Christina El Moussa have separated about six months after an incident in which the police came to the El Moussas' home. A firearm and a possible suicide attempt were involved.

After I found this article, there was another saying that they are going ahead with filming of Season 8 of Flip or Flop, even though they apparently aren't getting along.

She is easily one of the five hottest women I have ever seen. To say that he outkicked his coverage is a gross understatement. Even his own friends don't know how he pulled it off.

She looks like former porn star Tiffany Rayne, but is hotter in my book because I've never seen her naked, so there's some mystery. 

This show is probably one of my least favorite of the "Home Improvement" shows. I like the brothers, and I like the one with that dude Chip. 

The fact that this guy would be able to bang her but still not be able to put up with her shit really makes me understand more and more why I am pretty much OK with not wanting to ever get married. Even friends of mine that are married and tell me the shit they put up with, it just makes me nope all that much more. I have never really felt the need to get married, recently have seen less and less women I'd be interested in marrying, and I'm not sure if I ever will. Sorry Mom.

You are probably making the right call.  Marriage and being married is a selfless act and probably isn't for you.  I married young and was married for 19 years, it didn't work out.  When we separated I knew I would get married again and 5 years later I did.  I may be in the minority, but I feel life is meant to be spent with one individual that you care for more than your own self.

I've also been divorced.  I have now been married for over 19 years and it is the best thing I've ever done.  There is something to be said for building a life together, for raising kids, for learning to compromise and work things out, for making each other better people.  The biggest thing is making sure you are the right kind of person for someone to be married to.

Is it hard work?  Absolutely but a lot of the time the best things come from hard work.

Trust me, if it weren't for Christina, most other people wouldn't have either. She is the only reason that I watch, and I don't miss an episode.

People Magazine is reporting that she has taken up with one of the contractors who they use in their renovation projects. Guess that he was just checking out her carpet. The same story said that this contractor was present when the gun incident at the El Moussas' house took place, and that he is the one who told police that Tarek had a gun. I'm wondering if Christina confronted Tarek with new boyfriend, he is someone who Tarek knows, and he just lost it. Both swear that infidelity had nothing to do with their breakup, but she landed on her feet awfully quickly. One person commenting on an article raised the possibility of a paternity test for the couple's youngest child (16 months), since Christina left so soon after giving birth. Apparently they actually separated in May when the gun incident occurred, and it was just revealed to the public a few days ago.

I don't see any way that the show goes past the season that is already in the can. Reports are that they have to be separated during breaks in filming, and they are communicating through notes passed by members of the production crew.

I would think the interest factor is high in largely because we've all seen these neighborhoods they are doing business in before.

Seriously I never heard of this show or these people before this story was shoved down everyone's throat.

My guess is very few other people have either, and this is all a bunch of bullshit to get them some ratings.
