Possible rotation for 2017 so far (without signing big FAs):

Shoe, Skaggs, Weave (1 year deal), Oberholzer, Chacin (1 year deal if indeed having found his mechanical issue in the pen)...with Nate Smith in the wings

Meyer in there too, and at least Richards is starting to seem like a slight possibility.

Meyer, Skaggs, Oberholtzer, and Heaney were all really touted not long ago. Would be great if this came to be sometime.

I'm taking a wait and see approach on Meyer.   Heck, he may be yet another one of those guys who project much better as a back end of the pen guy.   It would be nice by mid-2017 to throw four guys with great stuff at teams in the late innings, like Bedrosian, Middleton, Alcantara, and Meyer.

This went about exactly as expected so far.

Its okay -- Cam Bedrosian sucks and was possibly the worst pitcher to ever put on an Angels uniform..   Those are the sorts of knee-jerk comments made on this board on small samples.  People have bad games, guys like Oberhoppenheimersteinez will have bad games...

Still a good pick up given our situation.

If the Angels want to be competitive and hope to be Chacin a playoff spot next year, their starting pitching is going to need a complete Oberhoulzin this off season. No more Weavin old arms into the rotation that need to be tossed to the curb. They need younger arms. By not doing so , would have the team heading down the wrong Street.
