Ok, this where you guys are behind the curve. This is just to include the visually impaired by giving voice references to who are the presenters on the show. Currently some programming on network television includes audio screen descriptions that the blind can access to better follow story lines. For you it is obvious the clothing, gender and racial make up of the presenters, for the blind it isn't as clear. 

There is a likelihood scene descriptions were not available for the distribution network. Now turn off your trigger alert, this is just inclusive programming to reach all audiences. Kind of like closed captions for the deaf.

i'd have been okay with their descriptions, knowing they were for the visually impaired, if they left out the pronouns and the "we on land previously occupied by" parts.
