War on Christmas

As the kids have gotten older now the whole Christmas shopping thing is wearing down.  I am fine with a good omelet pan or one of those nose hair trimmers.  We tend to shop all year anyway.  Kids just want cash for Christmas and all I want from them is get through college and get a job.  I hope that isn't too liberal.

Yesterday at work I heard over 20 "Merry Christmas" and not a single "Happy Holidays."   I'm convinced this war on Christmas is only on Fox News and internet message boards.

We're pretty much the same way. We buy presents for the grandkids (none of whom live with us), but as far as gifting each other we pretty much don't. We buy things throughout the year that we want, so the idea of gifts just for the sake of having a box to unwrap isn't all that appealing.
