I tend to look to at it this way. I think this will force Arte and Eppler to make the Halos a lot more competitive. Seeing the Astros and Rangers go far in the postseason is a good thing for us guys. Maybe we see some big signings and more money spent on the team.

The Rangers were 13-6 versus the Astros this year.

I believe Arte wants to win but he should've put together an experienced baseball braintrust after Reagins and let them make all of the personnel moves. Some people here still believe that Pujols was key to the television deal. I really don't know if that's true. Hopefully Eppler can build a champion.
