Cleveland almost came back on KC, Pats in OT, Steelers down 3 to the Ravens, Houston killing it and Colts sneak by.

 

Crazy week, still some playoff spots in question.

Ha, NE wins the coin toss for OT and elects to kick, then the Jets take it down and score a TD to win.

Bengals won the AFC north but I think are still in line for a bye if they beat the Broncos tomorrow.

Kind of.

 

With the NE loss, a win ties them for the #1 seed, while a loss means DEN ties them for the #2 seed.

 

I don't know the tie breakers, so it's prudent to win and not have them come into play, plus possibly getting the #1 seed.

Chiefs need Houston and Hali back.

 

But even with them out that bunch has been beastly. Offense needs to improve (granted, they only had three possessions in the entire 2nd half today) or they could get dropped in the 1st round against a hot team like the Texans, even though they smashed them the 1st week of the season.

Yea so Cincy win tomorrow guarantees them a first round bye.  Then they would need a NE loss and Cincy win in week 17 for home field.

 

Jets have to beat Rex Ryan and the Bills next week and they are in.

Nevermind. Belicheck said he wanted to kickoff to start OT.

 

Makes sense, I think they always defer when they win. Just looked weird because of Slater's reaction.

Kudos to the Chiefs.  They have completely turned their season around.  In a much better way than the Broncos have completely turned their season around.

If Cincy wins tomorrow night then the Colts are eliminated.  Colts need a bunch of other shit to happen too to make it in.

Yeah they always defer to start a game, but to do it in OT? That's beyond stupid. Absolutely no reason to do it in OT and Belicheck had no excuse in the press conference only repeatedly saying it was the "right call"

I don't even think that was the case, but think PITT losing today messes that up.

 

If KC and DEN tie KC has the tie breaker. But the other factors were PITT and NYJ winning out to tie them and have the tie breaker that would leave them on the outside looking in.

 

I kind of remembered the workings last week, but after today's results am not so sure because I thought PITT would win out or at least win today.

It doesn't matter anymore since they changed the rule. You are going to need a stop regardless.
