What was misleading about it?

https://www.nationalreview.com/news/time-magazine-cover-defends-decision-misleading-photo/

"Time magazine on Friday defended its decision to feature a photo of a crying toddler who was never separated from her mother on the cover of its July issue detailing family separations at the border."

Lol, so because the baby they used wasn't actually separated, that is a problem?  Over 2000 kids were separated and in most cases, or maybe all, the media was not given access to kids.

Well it certainly plays into the scenario that the press is against Trump and against those who support him (which is the bigger point).

Except Hitler is dead.  They couldn't find a real kid who was separated?

The media was denied access to them.

Have you followed the "where are the girls" movement?

It was a picture portrayal, I can't imagine even the most simple minded couldn't tell that it was just dramatic imagery and not an actual factual image.

Yeah it's not fair to the press. But since when is life fair?  They know the press is being attacked by those that don't support a free press. They have to understand that anything they print will come under ridiculous scrutiny. If they want their story to reach those that most need it, they have to understand the rules of the current ideological battlefield.

It isn't a matter of simple mindedness Nate.  I think you know this.  Trump is painting a picture, the kind of picture that will continue to keep him in power.  That picture is that the press (the group that folks should trust to bring the truth) is literally against Trump and those who support him.  That cover wonderfully adds color and detail to Trump's picture.  It is just fodder.  I think they should be able to understand that.

Lol.

By your same logic, this is also a misleading cover.  That isn't actually Mars, that is an artists rendering.

You're complete ignoring the argument. It isn't what MT thinks. No one gives a crap what he thinks. ? It's what will be spun and how that will be used and ultimately the fate of the country as a whole.
