Former Major Leaguer Darryl Hamilton reportedly murdered

"Former Major Leaguer Darryl Hamilton was killed Sunday, police in Pearland, Texas, have confirmed, in what was an apparent murder-suicide.

A report by the ABC television affiliate in Houston said that police confirmed finding the bodies of Hamilton and Monica Jordan near the entrance of a home.

Police said it appeared that Hamilton, 50, was shot several times and Jordan had a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Hamilton, a studio analyst for MLB Network, was an employee of Major League Baseball Advanced Media from 2003-06, hosting a daily show on MLB.com."

In 2008 Monica Jordan tried to kill her husband and burn down the house where they were living. She chased him and tried to throw gasoline on him.
