He's had bad post seasons.

And that's hits on something important.

You can have good regular season guys up and down the lineup.

But if they all struggle in the post-season, then all you likely have is post-season appearances and no post-season series wins. 

 

I know it's difficult to maximize both.    But dang this team has sucked at the plate most of the time in the post-season after 2002, the exceptions probably being 2009 vs the Red Sux and 2005 vs the Skanks.

Man, what can you do? On the one hand, that play (which was pretty routine) literally may have just cost them the world series. On the other hand, they probably dont even get to the series without his clutch hitting the first two rounds. Kind of like kershaw blowing it in the playoffs.

He's given just about all of it back since the WS began.

Some GM will be stupid enough to give him what he wants.  He has absolutely no range defensively though.  For as bad as I wanted him earlier, I cant take watching another Featherston clone for 2016.
