Jake is very good; we'll see if he turns-out to be the next Tom Hanks tho (By the way, I've said it before that I told everybody he would be a huge star after seeing "Bachelor Party" and his first show "Bosom Buddies"!).

 

I'm watching "Prisoners" right now, and he is good as usual.  I can't wait to see "Nightcrawler"!  He looks super-creepy in it.

 

I thought he was great in "End of Watch;"  They pretty-well nailed the back-and-forth in the Patrol Car between partners, though the action was a little too much for reality.

 

*edit-  I still haven't seen "Brokeback Mountain" because of the premise, tho a lot of women have tried to convince me to watch it.  Any straight guys here recommend seeing it?

Brokeback Mountain is a good movie. Ang lee doesn't really make bad movies, in my opinion. Even the Hulk was decent. Brokeback doesn't have a lot of cowboy-on-cowboy action really. There is some, but it's not explicit or gratuitous. It's more about how the two pole smokers are trying to deal with their secret love for one another's man meat and how it affects not only their lives, but also the lives of their families.
