So what is everyone's thoughts on Obama's plan for ISIS?

Out of all the very important (sarcasm) allies we have with us, where is our supposed most important ally in the region?

What the hell is Israel doing while we are attacking IS?

I think all our allies are Sunni so Israel might not fit in.

Yeah, I'm sure we would get any of the Arab nations to go along with us with Israel at our side.

Which is why the whole thing in the middle east is F'd up, everything. The times that we need a MIDDLE EAST coalition and our biggest ally in the middle east can't participate because they won't play nice with Arabs and Arabs won't play nice with them. What are we doing people?

Defeating ISIS in Iraq will take time, in part because the Iraqi military needs to be reconstituted, and because it will take time to arrange the kind of local support like the Sunni Awakening years ago, U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry says.

U.S. airstrikes aren't designed to defeat ISIS by themselves, he said. "You and others should not be looking for some massive retreat in the next week or two," he tells CNN's Christiane Amanpour.

The fight against ISIS not only will include ongoing strikes, but also foreign fighters, cutting off financing, and a major effort to "reclaim Islam by Muslims," he says.

Lol.  Good thing we stuck around all these years "training" the Iraqi military.  They aren't even ready to fight a war within their own borders.
