Fun game. I love that Richards looked a bit off early, struggling to throw strikes at times and leaving the fastball up, but then sorted it out and was in total control from that point on.

when the Halos beat the Dodgers there should be a special glow over the Halo......double up the lights or something............

 

Or maybe they can have the Halo light up in different colors to represent the team they beat? Blue for the Dodgers, Green for the A's, etc.

He is already in uncharted amounts of innings and I'm worried how he will look next month. With a 5 run lead I'd take him out. 

 

He's still throwing 97 mph in the 9th inning and he's young and strong. I'm glad Scioscia let him get his first shutout.

Kershaw is a beast but I think hes due for an average start vs a god start.

Just got home, what a blast it was seeing the Dodgers fans have NOTHING to celebrate and Garrett Richards absolutely dominate.

The key to beating Kershaw is going to be getting to him in the first inning. We did it to Greinke, we're gonna have to do it to Kershaw. We can not let him get into a groove. If he does, we're gonna have to make him throw pitches and win the bullpen game.
