All joking aside I would like to see him just be a DH and see if that gets him going. Playing 1B might be to taxing on his legs. At this point .274 / 32hrs / 95rbi's / .875 ops might be the best we can get. Sadly.

I think he should DH and play some first.......who else is better than him at 1B on the club?

Cron is acceptable there but not better, Hamilton hardly plays 1B, Ibanez is clearly a DH playing anywhere in the field although LF is his best position but that's not saying much.

 

Our best 1B defensively may be McDonald or Kendrick.
