If this was intended for me then haha. I was basically telling him the exact thing you said but with fewer words. The average fan only cares about performance on the field. It wasnt really at anyone.. just the post about this guys life, or this guys dui.. all get a little sanctimonious .. i know some things are sensitive, but i suggest people hold these men to the same standards they hold themselves

Garza's an effing clown.  He still makes the Angels a considerably better team and if he keeps his mouth shut and is signed to a deal that works for the Angels, I say go for it.  Weav, Wilson and Garza are a pretty solid, steady 1-3.  Richards, Santiago, Skaggs and Mulder as a 4th or 5th starter is as good as it gets.

I doubt it would "alienate" anyone more than Callaspo or Freese or what have you actually "alienated" anyone.

 

That said, Garza does seem like a tremendous ****ing tool. I'm not super fond of him as a pitcher either, but if they get him on a reasonable deal, he'll help and I'll try my best to ignore it every time he opens his mouth.
