They didn't need to change the unis. Freaking Glazer family. If they HAD to change, it should've been more subtle, maybe adding some orange to the red and pewter.

The base of the jersey is awesome, I'll say that. However, the numbers and the 'Bucs' patch on the left shoulder just ruin it. Pirate ship on both shoulders or GTFO. This jersey makes me angry. They worked on this for two years and this is what they came up with? I haven't been this embarrassed since the day they signed Derrick Ward.

I gotta hand it to the Patriots FO as they move aging players before they decline too much.  Wright could be a steal for NE and Mankins helps address a huge need in Tampa.

insurance for the gronk not being healthy?

Insurance and also a possible dual TE system like they ran with Gronk and Hernandez when Gronk is healthy.  I think it's got to be insurance as much as anything though as Gronk suffered a back injury in college that affected his draft status and he's had forearm, hip, knee and back injuries in the NFL.  He's coming back from a major knee injury and that along with back issues are major concerns for any player particularly one who's had problems staying on the field.
