Suspect was shot in the head by police and is "unresponsive", according to the FBI. Probably has major brain damage.

 

NY Times reports he shot the TSA agent multiple times, went up an escalator, then came back down when he saw the agent move and shot him again point-blank.

People can be critical of the police or tsa and not wish ill on individuals.  People should be able to separate individuals from organizations.

I understood what he was saying. He meant by "normal civilians", everyone but airport/government officials.

 

TSA people are uniformed and identifiable as officials, as opposed to civilian travelers.

News reporting he had plans to shoot several TSA agents.

He's alive but in critical condition. Unresponsive so police have yet to interview him.

We're learning a little more about the shooter's medical condition. Earlier reports had him shot in the head and "unresponsive". Turns out he was shot in the mouth and it blew out a molar.

He's under sedation and not able to talk yet, but it appears he will recover at some point.

Then again, maybe he won't recover. More details are emerging and it appears he's in real bad shape. He took a .45 caliber round to the face which knocked his teeth out, split his tongue, and actually blew away part of his face. Leave it to the NY Daily News to give us the full story.

I'm sorry, but posting gore/vulgar images on a forum like this is IMO irresponsible and borderline inappropriate.

 

Not to mention there was very little effort put forth by the poster to censor or warn the viewer going through the thread, using a stupid "NWS" warning is insufficient as very few people even know what that means. More like NSFW or NSFL or just freakin' explain "the image below contains real graphic images of brains and blood" so people know.

 

Better yet just post a link to the image if you really feel the need to share that for craps sake.
