ESPN: Angels had 'aggressive' meetings

I got an alert from ESPN Score Center on my phone last night that said

"Los Angeles Angels manager Mike Scioscia met with the front office for several days before it was determined that he would return for the 2014 season"

Thanks for the breaking news.

I just got a laff out of the "aggresive" meetings as well.

I can just see Sosh running on contact from third after a sharlpy hit ball directly to the third baseman.  He's out by a mile, but gets plenty of high fives in the dugout.

*grounds into bases loaded DP down by 4 runs, but a run scores*

*showered with high fives and buttpats*

""We all have to be accountable, and there are certainly some decisions that I made this year and some guys were played and went about some roles that didn't work out, and you have to be accountable for that," Scioscia said."

so what does that mean, exactly? how was he accountable for his decisions? was he fined or suspended? get his pay docked? have to apologize to arte for putting blanton in the rotation?

Arte took away the Matty poster from his locker.
