and the outcome seems to imply that failure has become acceptable.

I just got a laff out of the "aggresive" meetings as well.

 

I can just see Sosh running on contact from third after a sharlpy hit ball directly to the third baseman.  He's out by a mile, but gets plenty of high fives in the dugout.

I am fine with what Scioscia said.  It sounds pretty honest to me.  Nobody will ever know if he and Jerry get along.  I just hope they can get their shit together and win.
