Scioscia is a strange guy. He plays Cowgill for a few games in a row and he puts up 0-4 and 0-6 type numbers, yet he remains in the lineup. Then he sits him today after his performance last night? Doesn't make a whole lot of sense. Shouldn't a player be rewarded for having a great game?

Just noticed that Green is also not in the lineup. He had a 3 RBI game last night. Scioscia sits the two players that drove in most of the runs last night. Weird.

I am managing my retirement the same way...it has to work because Mike is a genius.

Cowgill starts against lefties. He has a career .784 OPS against them and really struggles against righties.

This is always overstated on here. His career ERA is under 4 against the Angels. His record sucks but that doesn't really matter. He struggles far more against Texas.

Well, he has a career 3.19 ERA and it's 3.95 against the Angels so that's a pretty big difference.

He definitely is worse against Texas though. I guess I meant "struggling" in Felix's perspective.
