bradford needs to look seriously at his next career, be it insurance salesman or casino greeter or owning a chain of dry cleaners.

I don't really think he needs to worry about working as by the time his contract is completed Bradford will have made 78M as his rookie contract was signed before the newest CBA came into play which created the much needed rookie pay scale.  At least for him most of his injuries have been things getting torn and not him getting his head scrambled.

True because he actually restructured his deal in 2012 which made it so that his 2014/2015 base salaries aren't guaranteed .  I still think he'll be okay having pocketed 65M over the 2010-2014 seasons while totaling 18 wins.  To be fair when he was playing and stayed upright he showed promise and it's not like he went out Ryan Leaf or Jamarcus Russell style.

I would have liked the Cowboys to claim him on the waiver wire. Our defense is going to be absolutely horrible this year and we could benefit by having a good pass rusher off the edge which Sam seems to be. Unfortunately we just traded today for a DE from the Titans so I don't see it happening.

Lol, all the crap about him not being drafted til late cause he was gay.  Before the draft all you heard was that he was under sized and there were real concerns that he could play at the NFL level.  His cut today seems to indicate those concerns were real.

He proved he could play in the NFL during the preseason. It was always going to be an uphill battle for him to make the Rams. They have so much talent on their d-line that it was going to come down to a numbers thing for them. They just didn't have a spot for him

On the flip side, he is limited to being a 43 DE and there just isn't many teams out there that run the 43 and need a DE. Cowboys are one but they said he doesn't fit their scheme. I don't know what their scheme is unless it's being terrible and getting no pressure on the QB.

I think his cut indicates that the Rams are stacked at DE. It's the strength of their team with two Pro Bowlers.

He played well enough to be in the NFL. Actually even better than I expected.

He'll play for the Cowboys this year, there is no doubt about that. They have a horrific pass rush, the thing Sam excels at. He might not be an every day DE (not many are anyhow) but he could definitely help them in obvious passing situations. Dallas is a great place for him because he has a chance there but also because Rod Marinelli is there and he's arguably one of the best defense line coaches there is. So if he fails in Dallas, he wouldn't have made it anywhere else.

Bumpamundo, after the big upset of the Seahawks this past Sunday

So Rams, think you can actually keep the 2nd half deficit under 2-3 TDs for a change?

Even if they end up with a great draft pick, I'm guessing that Mariota is tabbed to go in the first couple of overall picks?

Just say NO to Winston!

Copied from the Week 11 thread:

----------------------------------------------------

Daniel Bryan would say it best about the Rams.
Yes! Yes! Yes!

THIS is the real Rams defense. The sacks are somewhere close to 4/game the past 5 games.

Shaun Hill, Tre Mason, and Greg Zuerlein come up big on the offensive side of the ball.
Zuerlein is a witch on the kicking side of things, with 5 for 5 including 55 and 53 yarders.
Mason averages 4 yds/carry and goes for a buck 13 after the Broncos allowed only 47 yds rushing/game the past 6 games.
Shaun Hill was very efficient, and actually had a solid yardage game.

That's THREE wins, against 3 Super Bowl participants the past 2 years, this season!

-------------------------------------------------------

Additional:  Aside from the 4th quarter in Arizona, the 2nd half performances are on the upswing recently.
