Bumpamundo

Now that the Rams have defeated Seattle and Arizona, played Pittsburgh close, and was dominated by Washington's run game, we are getting closer to seeing what the true Rams team will ultimately be.

Gurley gives them the ability to not rely so much on Foles, which opens things up for Foles.

Next baby step: the young OL continues to improve as the season progresses, with Gurley helping them to lead the way.

That would allow the defense to not be on the field so much.

Bumpamundo Two:

Todd Gurley is doing a nice Eric Dickerson as a rookie improv.

Now that Gurley is helping to keep the defense off the field enough, the defense is starting to come together after a slow start to 2015.

Next 4 weeks could = making hay.

Home vs SF, @ Minn, home vs Chicago, @ Baltimore

The Minnesota game should be interesting.

Both teams are almost mirror images of each other so far in 2015, each having a dominant RB, each having some issues establishing a consistent enough passing game, and each having similar offense and defense standings in the NFL.

The Rams defense has only allowed 8 TD's from scrimmage so far and is near the top of the NFL in sacks, and the offense has only turned over the ball 7 times and only allowed 11 sacks.

Biggest issues so far are Foles' inconsistency (partly young OL related?) and the special teams defense.

Time to create a new Los Angeles Rams thread?

I love the sound of that name, been too long since hearing it 21 years ago.

I was listening to the presser. They went on about the long Los Angeles Rams tradition of winning and how there will be a Superbowl in LA's future.

1) The Los Angeles Rams have along history of mediocrity.

2) The NFL will put a Superbowl in the new stadium, the Rams won't be playing.
