Trout is slumping

One hit in his last five games (1-14, .071 BA). Dude sucks. Of course he's walked 9 times, so his OBP is .435. But I'm wondering if he's finally tiring - last year he was comparatively sluggish the last couple months, so maybe we're finally seeing that with a couple weeks left. Hopefully he can turn things around so that his BA stays above .330 for the year.

The two outs I saw tonight he hit right on the nose...one hit the mound and went for a double play and the other was a rope to the center fielder.  The approach is right but he's had some bad luck.  It happens...

He's likely been pitched around his whole life so I don't think there is much there.

He's got amazing pitch recognition. He doesn't go up there looking to walk, he just doesn't swing at shit out of the strike zone. About half the time he Ks looking its on a pitch that was marginal and could have been called a ball.

Sometimes guys struggle in certain parks as it can take some time to get used to the background when picking up the ball.

The "tired" excuse is a bunch of hogwash. Trout doesn't need anyone making excuses for him . This is the time of the season where the best players play their best ball.
