As we approach the stretch run I wanted to thank everyone for their good sportsmanship, and sticking with the Prediction Game for 2013 in a frustrating Angels year. 

 

I will provide a thorough summary of all the yearly statistics at year end when we award the yearly prizes.  The prizes this year will be for 1st Place - a $100.00 Angels gift certificate to be provided by Chuck, 2nd Place - $50 in Angel Bucks good anywhere at the stadium, to be provided by tomsred, 3rd Place - $30 in Angel Bucks good anywhere at the stadium, to be provided by tomsred.

 

Those not finishing in the first three positions are playing for glory and pride, where you finish will be where your screen name gets etched in AngelsWin lore forever, so grab every point you can for bragging rights.  I do admire how many of you have all stuck with this all year, it's a real grind.

 

We will have some fun right after the last game with some special awards and recognition, so stay tuned!

 

 

Please note the following rule provision that goes into effect on Sunday, September 1st.  This is the fifth warning.

 

DUPLICATE PREDICTIONS

 

Until September 1, 2013, duplicate predictions are allowed.  Starting Sunday, September 1, 2013, duplicate predictions will not be allowed.  Should you predict the same entire prediction as someone did earlier, your prediction will be invalid, and the earlier prediction will stand.  Please review the submissions ahead of you each day before predicting. This rule prevents blocking whereby a leader could continually replicate a poster's prediction in second place to prevent relative change in position.

 

Chuck has turned on a special edit time stamp on a post should you edit your original prediction.  You may have already noticed this.  The earlier time will prevail in duplicate prediction situations.
