The fact that they won't even give an update until tomorrow is such a bullshit Angels thing to do. They obviously know, yet are making the fanbase wait around. This team is such a massive shit show. My only hope is that all of this convinces Arte to sell this offseason. This is the saddest day of a very sad season.

The guy didn't even participate in the team photo.  A blind man could have seen this coming.  I'm looking forward to hearing the spin the team puts on this, and how they're going to try and sign him in the off season.  What a joke this franchise has become.

39 homers on July 28th. Looked to be a shoo-in to break Troy’s record. Finished the season with 44. What could have been. 
 

It might be awhile before we see any Angel come close to 40 homers, kids.

Ohtani has arm fatigue- doesn’t get it checked, even when the team offered to have it done.

Ohtani tears his ACL- won’t talk about it, won’t shut it down to get surgery, but instead, keeps swinging.

Ohtani doesn’t participate in team photo- walks off the field, still won’t talk about it and sends his agent to do it for him.

Ohtani hurts his oblique- leaves Nevin and the team hanging on whether he will play every day. Chooses not to.

Ohtani clears out his locker after a loss-  possibly bailing on his teammates, who for better or worse, did what they were capable of. Bailed on the fans who have cheered for him for years. Bailed on an owner, GM, and manager who bent over backwards to make him happy.

Hot take, it kind of sounds like Ohtani is being a dick.
