Hope so, if he can get on a tear we may just squeak out a wildcard spot.

I'm really skeptical of this guy. I just don't get the "put me in coach" vibe from him. I could be way off, it's just my impression.

I know he's hurting, but he has a track record now at least with the Angels.

With that said I think the offense is missing his OBP.

So, when he is able run him out there again and see what you get and for how long.

Absolutely we need him back in the lineup.  Too bad he misses the Astros but hopefully the bats stay somewhat hot and we hold our own.

I know I'm in the minority here, but I really like Rendon as a player, and the way he handles the media. He's got his priorities straight. Loves his family, knows who he is and isn't going to allow himself to be the center of attention with the media. He's intensely competitive, it just manifests a little differently, similar to how it did with GA, and less fiery, like Kole Calhoun. He's even keeled, is clearly still a good hitter, gets his glove on everything at 3B. 

Clearly not perfect. The thunder is beginning to leave his bat, though that could simply be a construct of him being injured and the ball not flying as far. His throws to first base are infuriating, with the side arm sling. 

But overall, a good player. And the lineup is more potent with him healthy and batting in the middle of it.

People keep mentioning Trout's name as getting DH at bats if Ohtani leaves but they'll mostly go to this guy.
