well third overall this year is still damn fine choice. fantilli and michkov would easily be first overall any of the recent years.

Actually closer to 25%, since if a team that finishes 12-16th place wins, they can only move up 10 spots.  

But it's a moot point since 2 original 6 teams will move ahead of us.

They might be able trade him if they needed to. But it would make no sense.. He's 5.25 towards the cap minimum. No reason to eat contract at this point.

I don't even see him moving at the trade deadline. If we don't get at least a 4th, what's the point.

2.  Drafting Kariya

3.  Trading for Teemu

4.  Becoming an NHL team off of a movie.

Definitely Selanne. He was an absolute savage with the Jets and starting to hit his prime when the Ducks got.

A little bias as I’ve met him a few times and he’s the nicest dude.

Yeah, and in a cap league, the most important person is the GM. It's all the players combined, not one. 

Though if one of those players is top 5 in the league, it sure helps.
