The best part of the game is that we had to endure the announcers blowing Pujols and Molina for 3.5 hours only for them to go a combined 0-8 and Molina striking out to end the game.

Tampa forgot to bring their offense along with them to Cleveland. Two singles thru 11 innings. Guardians can't buy a hit either.

This is the 4th time someone has struck out 5 times in a playoff game (Harrison Bader in 2020, Reggie Sanders in 1995, and George Pipgras in 1932).  Pipgras was the winning pitcher in the game in which he K'ed 5 times.

I did not realize that as soon as 2 years ago it had happened. So four times in the history of the game has a player struck out five times in a playoff game. I don't know who the other two guys are. How in the world do you come back from that kind of performance? Granted though, a lot of guys are striking out today.
