Not going to lie, as much as I dislike Albert, I wish he were still on the Angels. The whole point of his shitty contract was to reach these milestones wearing an Angels uniform. Instead we have some dude named Ford playing 1B. Let's be real here.

It’s really hilarious. It’s like we married the hot chick in her early 30s, she immediately stopped putting out, gained 40 pounds and divorced us years later, taking all our money. Next thing you know she’s back with her ex sporting her revenge body and talking shit while we’re dating Mike Ford.

I think two things factor into his performance this year: One, the Cardinals are platooning him, and probably maximizing matchups. Two, he probably feels good playing in St Louis where he had his great years.
