But probably not. They'd have to go 24-51 the rest of the way.

On the other hand, they're 11-32 over the last 43 games. If they keep up that pace for the next 75, they'll lose about 105 games. 

Still, probably not. All they have to do to avoid 100 losses is win 1 out of every 3 games for the rest of the year.

I guess it depends on who they trade away at the deadline. Obviously if they trade Ohtani or any of their other legit players then they will be even worse. This year’s team is very special in the terrible department so 100 losses is possible

That factors in the 24-13 start and this team has done a complete 180 from that so that team no longer exists

Not anymore they don’t. Have you not seen the box scores over the past few months? They are not the same team we saw at the start of the season

I have. If they can all play like crap for 6 weeks they can certainly have a few guys clicking and win some games. 
 

for the most part the team just isn’t scoring runs. Assuming trout gets out of this career worst slump, he’s more than capable of carrying the team for a couple weeks.

Good news is the draft lottery in 2023, that could still possibly net them a top 5 first round pick.

I’m torn between this and the 70 win predictions.

Just halve the difference.

74-88, meaning 36-39 the rest of the season.

That's exactly why it'll happen. In typical Angels fashion they'll go on some pointless streak in September that's mostly fueled by players who either have no upside whatsoever (Duffy, Velazquez, etc) or aren't part of the org's future beyond this year (Suzuki, Syndergaard)
