Detmers line is horrible and he needs to work on his fastball command but our defense let him down today.

Btw I'm excited about Detmers. Just wanted some kind of positivity today.

I'm excited about Detmers also.  His first 2 starts have been against the A's, who can work pitchers, and the Dodgers, who are absolutely stacked.  

If anything, maybe we should have brought him up to face the Rockies or Diamondbacks, just to let him get his feet on the ground against lineups that aren't as lethal as the Dodgers.
