Unless the Angels stage a comeback, they'll be 7 games out of the 2nd WC.  Detroit is "only" 9.5 games back.  Angels currently have a -43 run differential this year.  Detroit has a -50 run differential.  But, yeah, the Angels can still make a run.

The schedule is also getting more difficult with the exception of some games vs Texas. But who knows, maybe they'll beat our asses too.

If you turned the game off after the 2nd inning, you got to see the Angels get out to a 3-0 lead and the rookie Detmers look good with 2 scoreless innings

Dang, punked by your division again...It has been a long time since the glory days. Poohholes, hamilton, upton and rendon all eating up salary cap and performing like minor league players without any desire. Where are all the hungry scrappy players that actually want to win? Even Trout is milking the pine because he sees no hope at the end of the tunnel. The culture doesn't feel right since 2000-2010 successes. Those players who were supposedly good come here and it feels like they would rather have a Disneyland vacation than play baseball.
