Barria was out of gas last inning. Its hot out there and his pitch count wasn’t high but you could see him laboring between pitches, looking tired and gassed. Not going to criticize Joe for not pulling him because a lot of us want him to have a longer leash with the starters but hopefully Cishek doesn’t blow this (lol). 
 

and this defense this year is just pathetic. That was a routine chopper from the looks of it. Jesus Christ should be out of this inning.

I just said I've watched some of the SLC games and, yes, I've seen him catch.  Again, that has NOTHING TO DO with anything I've said earlier.  You said, "If his defense can catch up, his offense would make him one of the better catchers in all of MLB."  My point is that until we see the Angels use him as a C in the majors, it's hard to actually make that claim.

Barria pitched really well but the third time through the order has always been the concern for him. 3 of his 4 hits were given up 3rd time through the order and some of the outs were hit pretty well. No strikeouts third time through the order.

Hopefully Cishek will come in and get the third out.
