...though maybe not, since Cole has reverse splits.  .823 OPS against lefties vs. .695 for righties in his career. Angels got 4 runs off of him in 2 starts earlier this year, but he went 7 shutout innings against them just a couple weeks ago.

Unless something wrong with Upton do not understand him not being in lineup. He had 2 solid hits last night and lefty pitching today.

Yeah, and running Eaton, Lagares, Rengifo, etc. definitely helps the team in the long run, right?  Hell, they don't even help in the short run.  Might as well see how Marsh adjusts to big league pitching over time.

The sun is a killer for me. The last day game I attended I almost passed out from heat exhaustion, and this was a 70-degree day in Oakland.

I watched the rest of the game from the concession area. Eric Chavez hit a 3-run blast off Donnelly to tie it, then in the 9th Frankie mishandled the routine return throw from Jose Molina, and Jason Kendall scored the winning run. A miserable day. The smell of garlic fries which permeated the Coliseum was sickening.
