Canning is a major key for the club.  Nearly as important as Ohtani.  At this point he should be stretched out.  If he solidifies his spot in the rotation and delivers on the promise of his talent things look a lot brighter for the Angels real quick. If not…..a lot of bad uncertainty over the next several years.  Would he real nice for him to build on his last start tonight.  Great challenge for him with this Dodgers line up.
