I heard Terry on the radio mention that Angel Hernandez just lost his lawsuit against MLB.  Sounded like the suit was about Angel not getting the post season assignments that he thought he should get.

I'm glad they ruled against him.

Yup, Hernandez is just a terrible umpire.

LOL. Increases the odds that he ejects someone tomorrow.

He’s right on the ownership thing. When everyone buys in and feels like they are contributing to the success of just about anything you start to see people do great things. It’s honestly a good life lesson in general.

We were never this tenacious during our record start to the 2018 season, I am still shocked we pulled this one off against yet another juggernaut team.  Feels weird, like, we might be more talented than anyone expected.  Let us all hope it lasts through the Summer, because we're going to need it, the A's won't continue rolling over and we will probably play them out of their slump.

Sometimes, the sum of the parts is better than the individual pieces.  I feel that may be true with our bullpen in particular.  Minasian talked this winter about getting guys who throw different kinds of pitches from different arm angles.  Individually, most aren't terribly impressive, but they seem to be pretty good when they're following one another and showing hitters vastly different looks.

The SP has been respectable - not great, but not bad.  The bullpen, though, has been rather solid and kept us in games, which has enabled our offense to come through and win it.  Given how great our offense is, if we can just keep with this formula (decent starts, good BP efforts), we should be in most games and win a number of them.
