It's amazing to me just how shitty some seriously talented players can look. I mean Ohtani and Rendon are two of the best hitters in the game and if you'd watched this season so far you'd have no idea.

I honestly don't think Maddon thinks about who is and isn't good. Just as long as he can continue to tinker with lineups, batting orders, and pitching changes.

I mean, he has to think Ward is bringing something to the table today that Goodwin and Upton are incapable of. Otherwise he wouldn't be playing nearly this much.
