Pete Rose played more games at 2nd & 3rd base as outfield. He didn't play 1st base until he was 38 after playing primarily 3rd base the two previous seasons.

if you listened to gubi yesterday, he was talking about Ohtani throwing 101 like he still does it.

Gubi is always over exaggerating what the players can do. They love him for it.

Is there anything more subjective than announcers?   Gubi may not be great but he’s much better than Hudler.

You can list a bunch of criticisms of Hudler from now til midnight, and you wouldn't be wrong.  Hell, he was even more of a homer than Gubi is.  But his enthusiasm for the game was infectious.  He made a lot of dreary, dreary seasons interesting.

The extent of Gubicza's personality is Gubi Tuesday.  If announcing was a color, he'd be monochrome.  We deserve better from our color tv announcer, and our radio pbp.

Albert Pujols is a problem for this team. No one here is suggesting otherwise. But the reason this team sucks as much as they do is the pitching.
