There is nothing to sell...there is growing evidence that the Trump campaign knowingly worked with the Russian government to impact the election and the implications that come from that, like being beholden to said foreign government. You can argue if we've reached that point as of yet, but Fredo coming out this weekend and admitting he took a meeting with the express purpose of getting dirt on Clinton from the Russians, reinforces the narrative.

So, if that's the case you can look at that and decide it's a bad thing, bordering on treason, or you can decide it doesn't matter because (insert whatever justification you come up with).

All you need to know about politics today:

 

2012 The 1980's called and wanted their foreign policy back. Democrats laughed and Republicans were pissed.

Russia annexes part of the Ukraine and Republicans scream that Romney was right about Russia being a geo political threat and shove it in Obama's face. Obama then starts a series of sanctions against Russia.

 

2016 Russia and Trump allegedly collude with one another and they want to cozy up together. Democrats are pissed and Republicans say it is time to get over the past and shrug their shoulders.

 

What a difference four years make. Both parties are shit and so are we for emulating them so well on the board.
