I've always had this issue.

The reason I hate the media and what dumb twats post on social media is their narrative. Black and white people get killed at a similar clip but the media wants to push any type of racial agenda or whatever gets clicks. Fucking disgusting.

If Lamar shoots Ladarius in Chicago no one gives two fucks, but the minute a white guy puts his knee on a blacks dudes neck then we get riots and outrage. I've always had an issue with this and think that if we are going to be a county of equality we must first treat everyone equally....fuck the color of your skin.

Little tangent here.

Truth.

I get what you're saying, but the problem here is that Lloyd was killed by police officers - the very people who are supposed to be upholding the law.

Don’t approach the cops in a threatening manner during a riot and you won’t get shot in the head with a tear gas canister. It’s pretty simple

We have a winner!

Anecdotal, but I do remember reading a story about 5 years ago about a white kid getting murdered because he flashed his brights at a cop to alert him his hi beams were on.

I remember thinking it was interesting that it wasn't bigger news. But it's also just one story, and I find it hard to believe whites are actually treated as badly. I've pissed on a cop's face and they thanked me.

Regardless, these protests help the plight of white people as well.

Anecdotal

I worked with a dude named Andre years ago in Irvine. Andre lived in Compton. He was a super nice dude and a great softball player. We became friends. One night as we were car pooling back to the office after a softball game I told him about a cop who had pulled me over for expired registration and threatened to impound my car as it was 6 months expired. He asked me how long the stop lasted. It was about 5-10 minutes I told him and a real inconvenience.

he proceeded to tell me that since he had worked in Irvine (about 12 months) he had been pulled over 36 times and never cited for anything.

How is that possible? I have literally not even seen 36 cops in the five years I have worked in Irvine.

I also agree with this and police officers should be held to a higher standard. I was mainly focused on the medias sensationalism.

What's going on is worthwhile, but I always think about the ones that aren't all over the news or forgotten.
