They do this so the US government gives them aid. We've seen it for years.

Of course not. They threaten with "nuclear tests" until we send them "aid". 

But every administration does it. Biden will do it for sure.

The progress Trump tried to make with North Korea was one of his better moves. North Korea is a shithole, but what are your options to liberate it? 

You go in guns blazing middle east style and install democracy? Expensive disaster.

They've been trying to bleed them economically for decades, that doesn't seem to be working since China just keeps them going.

Trump tried the diplomatic approach at starting to make them actual members of world society despite their brutal dictatorial leader and it seemed to result in actual progress. North and South Korea actually meeting etc.

There’s no end game to diplomacy with North Korea. They’re not going to free their people to run to the world courts to expose 70 years of torture and murder for their leadership to answer for. Unless we’re willing to turn heads and watch them walk away free

And the humanitarian issues you speak of are already pretty well known about north korea, so there's not too much exposure happening there. Those issues also aren't unique to north korea, eventually a solution has to come to the table even if that solution involves some level of injustice in order to preserve future generations.

If Trump was concerned about diplomacy, why did he not try to have diplomatic relations with Iran like he tried with North Korea? Not saying it’s the exact same situation but there are a lot of similarities.

I think he has less bargaining power with Iran because they're a much more capable and developed nation in comparison to North Korea.

North Korea just want money which was paid from Clinton through Bush. They kick up dust every March and August because we bring large quantities of troops for war simulations. By the way, our strategy sucks ass.
