Did you know that every state (and certain counties) issues IDs differently? The process is relatively simple for us white collar folks in the suburbs, but imagine having an hourly job where you can't get time off to visit the government office during the week, and the office is closed on weekends.

If an ID is required for one of our most fundamental rights, voting, then adequate IDs should be provided for free and without hoops to go through. Imagine needing an ID to exercise your freedom of speech.

Require ID to purchase weed and they'll start getting their IDs. Many people just don't give a shit about voting and won't bother to get one for that purpose.

I was stationed out in California during the late 90s. Angels tickets were cheaper than dodgers and I was poor. Those angels teams were fun to watch because they could hit some homers and had a lot of gritty players.
