Sorry cals I'm with Larry on this one. I'm not critical of Fauci like some in here are. Having said that, you can shut down travel from South Africa while at the same time gather data on it. Both can be accomplished. Since this is the path they are taking, better make a decision quick. 

Biden shut down travel from India back in April. No reason why he can't make the right move again.

It's going to find it's way in.  Heck, New Zealand did everything it could to keep Cals out, and still the Rona got in.  We aren't in the 1600's anymore where borders can easily be shut.  It's a global economy with countries interacting with countries 6 ways to Kevin Bacon.

They should have shut down travel yesterday or before that even.  Apparently it’s in Hong Kong and Israel tho.  So that means it’s too late.  Almost certainly here already.  But by all means do shut down travel from all these countries.

It’s really great tho that we made sure that first several billion of federally subsidized profit wasn’t enough for Pfizer and Moderna tho.  Really great shit that most of the global south continues to be a covid mutation breeding ground.   Thanks Joe.  I’m sure the pharma fucks are going to have a really awesome Christmas card for you this year.

The real end game to all of this is to cut China from the US economy in every way possible by bringing all critical manufacturing back to the US or move to other nations not aligned with China. There is no reason to leave pharmaceutical and tech manufacturing in a hostile nation. And China is a hostile nation.

I would imagine they’ll still be fairly effective at helping with serious illness.  It would be quite remarkable if they did not.  Who knows tho.  Like you said, we’ll know soon enough.
